چکیده

Photobiomodulation (PBM) has demonstrated positive effects on the muscle repair process. The aim of study was to evaluate infrared PBM using different light sources—low-level laser (LLL) at 780 nm (40 or 70 mW, 10 J/cm2, 0.4 J) LED 850 0.13 J)—and dosimetric parameters proliferation and migration cells. results showed that LLL 40 mW with same radiation exposure, led an increase in after 24 h, but no differences 48 72 h. Cells irradiated exhibited comparison control group 40mW not Moreover, cell greater 6 were found 12 h when used output power mW. Furthermore, power-LED, observed In conclusion, sources able modulate C2C12 myoblasts, only these

Photobiomodulation on the angiogenesis of skin wounds in rats using different light sources.

OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to compare the angiogenic effects of laser and light-emitting diode (LED) illumination on wounds induced in rats, with varied fluence. BACKGROUND DATA The LED is an alternative light source that accelerates wound healing, and its efficiency concerning the angiogenic effect was compared to low-level laser therapy (LLLT). METHODS The experimental model cons...

Macrophages Improve Survival, Proliferation and Migration of Engrafted Myogenic Precursor Cells into MDX Skeletal Muscle

Transplantation of muscle precursor cells is of therapeutic interest for focal skeletal muscular diseases. However, major limitations of cell transplantation are the poor survival, expansion and migration of the injected cells. The massive and early death of transplanted myoblasts is not fully understood although several mechanisms have been suggested. Various attempts have been made to improve...

Tanshinone IIA inhibits AGEs-induced proliferation and migration of cultured vascular smooth muscle cells by suppressing ERK1/2 MAPK signaling

Objective(s): Vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) play a key role in the pathogenesis of diabetic vascular disease. Our current study sought to explore the effects of tanshinone IIA on the proliferation and migration of VSMCs induced by advanced glycation end products (AGEs). Materials and Methods: In this study, we examined the effects of tanshinone IIA by cell proliferation assay and cell mi...

The role of autophagy in advanced glycation end product-induced proliferation and migration in rat vascular smooth muscle cells

Objective(s): To investigate the role of autophagy in advanced glycation end products (AGEs)-induced proliferation and migration in rat vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs).Materials and Methods: After culture, VSMCs were treated with 0, 1, 10, and 100 μg/ml concentrations of AGEs. Autophagy specific protein light chain 3 (LC3)-I/II was determined by western blotting, autophagosomes were observ...

ZHX1 Promotes the Proliferation, Migration and Invasion of Cholangiocarcinoma Cells

Zinc-fingers and homeoboxes 1 (ZHX1) is a transcription repressor that has been associated with the progressions of hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric cancer, and breast cancer. However, the functional roles of ZHX1 in cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) have not been determined. We investigated the expression and roles of ZHX1 during the proliferation, migration, and invasion of CCA cells. In silico analy...
